About the person behind the practice
Hi, I’m Roxy.
I’m a qualified integrative humanistic counsellor, and I believe therapy works best when you feel met - not managed.
My work is for people who have spent a long time making themselves understandable, useful or easy for everyone else.

How I show up
Curious. Present. On your side.
I’m not a therapist who sits back in silence or analyses you from a distance. I’m engaged and genuinely interested in understanding your experience as you experience it.
Our relationship is the centre of the work. We can slow down, think out loud and notice the patterns that feel confusing or exhausting - without deciding that those patterns mean something is wrong with you.
My practice is shaped by four years of training, more than 100 hours with clients and the ethical guidelines of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. It is also shaped by what I value: honesty, kindness and context.

A little more context
Human first.
Outside the therapy room, I love time in nature, road trips, slower rhythms and being around animals. Those things influence how I think about wellbeing: not as a performance, but as a relationship with your whole life.
I work with adults across the UK, including people who are self-identified or diagnosed later in life. You do not need a formal diagnosis, a perfect explanation or a crisis to deserve support.
“I appreciated the thoughtful resources - like the helpful apps and the personalised self-care and reflection routines she created.”
